The Informed Momentum Company Unveils New Brand Identity To Capture Dynamic Investment Philosophy
As part of this transformation, IMC remains the sub-investment manager of the EAM Global Small Companies Fund—soon to be renamed the IMC Global Small Companies Fund—which was launched in Australia in partnership with SH Hiscock & Company in September 2023.

February 2025
The Informed Momentum Company (IMC) announced its official rebrand, signifying the evolution of its business and reaffirming its commitment to delivering innovative, momentum-based investment solutions. Formerly known as EAM Investors, IMC continues to harness the power of Informed Momentum investing to drive superior outcomes for its clients.
This change more closely aligns IMC’s branding with their investment approach, it won’t affect the services or IMC team. Ownership and control of the business remain unchanged.
As part of this transformation, IMC remains the sub-investment manager of the EAM Global Small Companies Fund—soon to be renamed the IMC Global Small Companies Fund—which was launched in Australia in partnership with SG Hiscock & Company in September 2023.
The fund applies IMC’s proprietary Informed Momentum methodology to the global small-cap universe, aiming to generate alpha through a disciplined, systematic approach. The strategy has earned a Recommended rating from Zenith, underscoring its credibility in the market.
Australian clients and partners can see the new branding already integrated across the SGH company website, materials, and communications, while the Australian fund updated name IMC Global Small Companies Fund will be rolled out in materials and communications from mid-March, following the update of all product disclosure documentation.
Founded in 2007, IMC has a long-standing mission of delivering alpha through a systematic investment process that combines momentum-based stock selection with tailored risk management and efficient implementation. With decades of cumulative experience, the IMC team remains dedicated to providing clients with consistent and predictable return streams.
Travis Prentice, Chief Investment Officer of IMC, stated:
“Our new identity as the Informed Momentum Company encapsulates our dynamic investment philosophy and unwavering commitment to our clients. This rebrand reflects our dedication to staying at the forefront of investment strategies while maintaining the trust and integrity we’ve built over the years.”
The rebrand is designed to better represent IMC’s forward-thinking approach to investment management. While the firm’s name and identity have evolved, its core values, leadership team, and investment philosophy remain unchanged—ensuring continuity for clients and partners. IMC will continue to focus on delivering high-quality investment solutions and expanding its presence in global financial markets.
