An actively managed high-conviction Australian equity fund that invests in a concentrated portfolio of between 15 to 30 ASX listed companies. The Fund aims to offer long-term returns in excess of the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index (after fees).

SIV-Compliant Investment Funds
The Fund complies with the Significant Investor Visa (SIV) Complying Investment Framework, effective from 1 July 2015.

Our approach is built on a rigorous, repeatable, and disciplined assessment of a company’s earnings, business model, and management quality. A key part of this process is our extensive company visitation program, which provides valuable insights, validates our investment thesis, and helps us develop our highest-conviction ideas.
By seeking to understand our companies as thoroughly as possible, we aim to mitigate permanent capital losses and deliver long-term outperformance for our investors.
Investment Parameters
The SGH High Conviction Fund is actively managed and not bound by market indices, allowing us to invest exclusively in companies that meet our strict investment criteria. The Fund holds a focused portfolio of 15 to 30 ASX-listed stocks, with 80% to 100% of its exposure in Australian equities.
Portfolio guidelines include:
- Cash allocation capped at 20%
- Position limits: typically no more than 15% in a single company, with an initial purchase limit of 10%
- This disciplined approach creates a high-conviction, concentrated portfolio, designed to target long-term outperformance in the Australian equity market.
