SGH LaSalle Concentrated Global Property Fund Recognised at 32nd Annual Financial Standard MAX Awards
Global real estate investment manager LaSalle Investment Management, in partnership with Australian fund manager SG Hiscock & Company, has been recognised at the 32nd Annual Financial Standard Marketing, Advertising and Sales Excellence (MAX) and Investment Leadership Awards, with the SGH LaSalle Concentrated Global Property Fund winning the International Listed Property category.
The fund, which is distributed exclusively in Australia by SG Hiscock & Company, is an actively managed portfolio investing primarily in global real estate investment trusts (GREITs) and real estate operating companies (REOCs). The strategy aims to deliver total returns through a combination of long-term capital growth and income.
LaSalle Global Portfolio Manager, Paul Meierdierck, said the award highlights the fund’s disciplined investment approach and the strength of the team managing the strategy.
“We are fortunate to have a highly experienced investment team with deep sector expertise and a disciplined investment process that enables us to identify attractive opportunities across global real estate markets,” Mr Meierdierck said.
“Our approach provides investors with access to a diversified portfolio of listed real estate securities across global markets, helping them benefit from a broad range of real estate investment opportunities.
“This recognition reflects the dedication of our investment team and the strength of our long-standing partnership with SG Hiscock & Company, which has enabled us to deliver this strategy to Australian investors for more than two decades.”
Now in its 32nd year, the Financial Standard MAX and Investment Leadership Awards recognise excellence across Australia’s wealth management and investment industries, celebrating outstanding achievement in investment management, product innovation, distribution and leadership.
The award comes as LaSalle and SG Hiscock & Company continue to build on a partnership spanning more than 20 years, having first joined forces in October 2003 to provide Australian investors with access to global listed property investment opportunities.
