SGH LaSalle Concentrated Global Property Fund was upgraded by SQM Research to Superior 4 ¼ stars
SGH are pleased to announce that SQM Research has upgraded the SGH LaSalle Concentrated Global Property Fund to “Superior – Four and a quarter stars.”
SQM Research considers the Fund has substantial potential to outperform over the medium-to-long term.
Past returns have tended to be strong. PDS compliance processes are high-quality. There are no material corporate governance concerns. Management is of a very high calibre and deemed high investment grade.
SQM Research outlines the strengths of the Fund as:
- The fund managers, JLL and LaSalle are two of the world’s leading real estate service and investment firms and are focused solely on real estate. This allows the firm to dedicate substantial resources to research and analysis.
- LaSalle has a highly skilled and experienced portfolio management team. The three portfolio managers possess an average of 20 years of industry experience. LaSalle had a strategic restructuring in Nov 2019. The team is now well-resourced and stable.
- A disciplined and thorough investment process that provides a consistent valuation approach across all regions and sectors.
- Key-person risk is low.
- The management fee is lower than the G-REITs peer group.
- The Fund has materially outperformed the reference index and peer group over the long-term periods
Congratulations to to the lead portfolio manager Matt Sgrizzi and the LaSalle team!
