SGH20 wins the 2018 IMAP award03/08/18
SGH and its high conviction SGH20 Portfolio has been announced the Winner in the Australian Equities category, at the inaugural 2018 Institute of Managed Account Professional (IMAP) Awards.
The IMAP Managed Account awards are judged by a panel of Australia’s most experienced investment professionals, who apply a strict matrix of criteria in identifying Australia’s best managed account portfolios taking into account among other important factors performance over one and three years, risk measures in place and qualitative criteria including resources and structure of the portfolio management organisation.
In acknowledging the award, Stephen Hiscock, SGH’s Managing Director, said “I am delighted our high conviction active approach to investing has been recognised for the benefits it provides in a managed account and for investors more generally”.
“Our SGH20 Portfolio was shortlisted for the award alongside some of Australia’s most highly rated fund managers. Particularly pleasing is the award recognises the outstanding performance and efforts of the SGH20 investment team and Hamish Tadgell, who assumed lead Portfolio Manager for the Fund in early 2017.”
